That Most Wonderful Time of the Year

As I was posting my week of EP 365, it dawned on me that my "blogaversary" is sometime around now. So I checked, and, sure enough, yesterday the 12th marked the third --THIRD- year since I began writing about the goings on at Maison Cou Rouge.

Three years ago, AJ was masquerading as "Boy" and beginning his junior year in High School....and Alix was only referred to as "Girl" and was in Eighth Grade. I had no idea that I was about to discover Asia, India, Africa, Norway, Buddhism, or Photography. I had no clue as to the adventures I would be traveling, or the obstacles I would encounter.

I couldn't begin to imagine the friendships I would form, or the important roles those friends would play in my life.

I had no idea the questions I would ask, the choices I would make, or the way life could change.

What an amazing road these past three years.

If I have learned any one thing, it is that Life is all about the JOURNEY, not the destination.

In the coming year, I hope to keep taking photos, cook more, knit some, and travel a good bit. I want to find a way to give back to the world at least a little, in honor of all the world has given me. And I want to share it all here with you.

Stay tuned for the next year, folks. Who knows what will happen!!!!!!
